What we liked
- + The listing describes long, strong strands and says the moss can hold up to 20 times its weight in water.
- + The manufacturer says it is hand picked, air dried and free of chemicals and additives, and can be used straight from the pack.
- + Mentioned for reptile bedding as well as orchids and carnivorous plants, so it serves humidity pockets and planted setups.
Trade-offs
- - A 100 gram bag is a small amount until hydrated, and larger bags cost much more per bag.
- - Most of the spec sheet is about plant growing, so reptile specific guidance is thin.
