What we liked
- + Front-opening door with a locking latch and pin, plus a hinged screen top for a second point of access.
- + The 5 inch deep watertight bottom allows water features, so it can be set up as a mini paludarium.
- + Kit includes a foam rock background, mini halogen dome with bulb, coconut husk bedding, gauge and feeding dish.
Trade-offs
- - Costs more than a bare 12 by 12 by 18 tank because of the bundled accessories, which you may later upgrade.
- - No UVB lamp is listed in the kit, and Zilla states it is not for iguanas, monitors or large reptiles.
