What we liked
- + Same brand and 6 by 8 inch size as the original, 120 volts and 8 watts with a 6 foot cord and US plug.
- + PTC heating material and insulation are listed, with 3M adhesive paper to hold the mat in place.
- + Two mats in the pack, enough for two small tanks or a spare.
Trade-offs
- - Sold as a 2 pack, so it costs more than a single pad if you only need one.
- - The listing has no thermostat and no tank size recommendation, so you must pair it with a controller.
