What we liked
- + Checks UV output from a lamp to spot a failing bulb
- + Portable size is easy to store with reptile supplies
- + Cheaper than dedicated reptile UV Index meters
Trade-offs
- - Reads power in mW rather than UV Index, which reptile guides use
- - Generic listing with no reptile calibration, so readings are only indicative
