What we liked
- + Front opening door with a lock opens fully for cleaning and feeding, so you are not reaching in from above.
- + The listing describes a thickened metal frame that resists rust, with fine mesh on the top and both sides for airflow.
- + Side cable holes are included for neat lighting wiring, and the product page says tools are included and assembly takes a few minutes.
Trade-offs
- - At 16 x 16 x 30 inches it is far smaller than the extra tall enclosures in this guide, so it suits smaller arboreal species.
- - It is a bare cage, not a kit: lighting, plants, branches and misting all have to be bought separately.
