What we liked
- + Doubles as a cleanup crew and a live food source for froglets
- + Charcoal substrate is clean and easy to tap into a vivarium
- + 8 oz size is affordable for a first try with springtails
Trade-offs
- - Smaller culture takes longer to build up numbers
- - Needs moisture checks, since small cultures dry out faster
