What we liked
- + Cable control feature keeps cords from being pinched under the lid
- + Steel frame and mesh top hold up to fixtures sitting on them
- + 24 x 12 size suits small tanks for juveniles or quarantine
Trade-offs
- - Small size only fits a narrow range of tanks
- - Mesh under hot lamps still needs a thermostat-controlled heat source
