What we liked
- + Raised platform under a lamp creates a safer basking spot than a heat rock
- + Climbing ramp helps turtles and lizards reach the top easily
- + Works in both aquatic turtle tanks and dry setups
Trade-offs
- - Provides no heat itself, so a thermostat-controlled lamp is still needed
- - Resin surfaces under strong lamps can get hot, so check the temperature
