What we liked
- + A compressed block that the listing says expands to 72 quarts, a lot of bedding for the price.
- + The product page describes natural coconut husk chips, dust-free and free from chemicals, and says they retain moisture.
- + The spec sheet says it works for snakes, tortoises, lizards and frogs, and the carton box keeps the block from crumbling in transit.
Trade-offs
- - It must be soaked and expanded before use, and one block makes far more than a single small enclosure needs.
- - The listing text also refers to Repti360, which is confusing, and it is a lesser known brand.
