What we liked
- + Both cleanup crew layers arrive together, so you do not need to order isopods and springtails separately.
- + The listing says the live animals are hand packed with bedding and ventilation, and shipped with live arrival in mind.
- + Listed as suited to humid bioactive setups such as dart frog and mantella vivariums, and to first time bioactive builders.
Trade-offs
- - Live animals are shipped, and the manufacturer does not name a shipping cutoff, so cold or hot weather can affect arrival.
- - Dwarf white isopods suit humid setups, and the product page does not say whether they fit dry desert enclosures.
