What we liked
- + Central hinges allow partial opening, so you can reach in without removing the whole lid or fixtures.
- + The listing describes a metal screen with maximum UV penetration, suited to terrariums that use lighting above the lid.
- + Designed for 20 Long, 29 and 37 gallon terrariums, and the 30 x 12 inch flat size is easy to check against your tank.
Trade-offs
- - The spec sheet says to use screen clips to prevent accidental escape, and the clips are not included.
- - It only fits terrariums of the stated footprint, so measure the tank opening first.
