Zoo Med - Hood REPTISUN LED UVB 24IN
Zoo Med's ReptiSun LED UVB hood in the 24 inch size pairs LED lighting with UVB in one fixture. It costs far more than the nano hood it replaces here, so treat it as the premium one-hood option.

What we liked
- + Combines LED lighting and UVB in a single 24 inch hood, which saves space on a crowded screen top.
- + Red LEDs are included to stimulate live plant growth in planted setups.
- + Blue LED simulates nighttime lighting, and the listing states a 20,000 hour life range.
Trade-offs
- - A large step up in price from basic LED hoods, so it is hard to justify for plant lighting alone.
- - The spec sheet does not state the UVB lamp type or strength, so confirm it suits your species before buying.
